100 days and five photos

Sugargoo's homepage is specific: five free QC photos per item and 100 days of storage. That is ten days more than Hipobuy and five photos where Hipobuy gives no number. For buyers who collect slowly, waiting for one more pair to arrive before shipping, those ten days can avoid a storage charge. The sign-up offer of 100 points plus ¥800 in international shipping coupons is aimed at first parcels.

Sugargoo's audience is mostly American, which shows in its line choice, but it ships to all of Hipobuy's main European markets.

The complaint that matters for EU parcels

Sugargoo's 3.4 score rests on 642 reviews, and a recurring complaint is about customs declaration codes: parcels returned or delayed because the tariff code did not match the contents. Since 1 July 2026 the EU charges €3 per tariff category in low-value parcels, so a wrong code can now also cost money. Ask for the declaration to match the actual goods, item by item.

Using Sugargoo with a sheet built for Hipobuy

Nothing in a spreadsheet locks you to one agent. Spain: VAT and the €3 category duty on a Sugargoo order

Say you buy two pairs of jeans and a shirt through Sugargoo for €80 in total and pick a line that quotes €20 for the parcel. Spain charges 21% import VAT on goods plus transport, about €21.00. Since 1 July 2026 the EU also charges a flat €3 customs duty for each different tariff category in parcels up to €150 sent under IOSS; this basket has 2 categories, so €6. Landed cost: roughly €127.00, before any carrier handling fee.

How Sugargoo lines up against Hipobuy

Read the table as a starting point rather than a ranking. Hipobuy is the agent this site centres on, so we checked its help centre item by item; for Sugargoo we recorded what its own pages and Trustpilot showed on the same day. If a cell says to check the agent's help pages, it means the figure was not readable from outside an account.

A short checklist for Sugargoo buyers

Start with the money side: top up only what you need for the current order, and pay by a method that lets you dispute a charge. Then the item side: compare the QC photos with the listing, measure garments against the size chart, and ask for an exchange before the return window closes. Finally the parcel side: choose a line that shows the tracking handover to your local carrier, and keep the parcel weight within the band you were quoted.

Delivery times you can expect from Sugargoo

Count the whole chain, not just the line: three to five days for the seller to reach the warehouse, a day or two for photos, the time you take to approve, packing, then transit. Tax-included EU lines commonly take ten to twenty days in transit; postal lines longer. Peaks around November and Chinese New Year add a week or more. If you need something by a date, add a week to the line's estimate.

Hipobuy's order status page uses the same chain, from 'Ordered' to 'Shipped (Local)' to 'Stored', so the steps look familiar on any agent.

Paying Sugargoo safely

Use a card or PayPal rather than a bank transfer or crypto where you can, so a payment dispute stays possible if an order stalls. Keep the account balance close to zero between orders: a balance is money you have handed over without a product attached. If Sugargoo offers a coupon that requires a large top-up, compare the saving with the risk of leaving that money parked.

Write down order numbers and dates. If you ever need support or a dispute, a simple timeline makes the case much faster.

Which finds to try first with Sugargoo

New accounts are best tested with something inexpensive and easy to judge from photos, such as a hoodie or a cap, rather than an expensive watch or a designer-style bag.
