Superbuy's strengths, from its own homepage

Superbuy states two terms in plain view: free QC photos and 90 days of free storage, the same storage window Hipobuy gives. It also has the longest history of any agent here, dating back to 2012, and a large English-speaking audience in the US and UK. Trustpilot's score of 4.5 rests on 1,034 reviews, although only 84 of them arrived in the past year, so the score leans on older experiences more than for younger agents.

For EU buyers Superbuy's appeal is predictability: shipping lines are published in advance and the process has been stable for years. It rarely features in shutdown rumours.

What reviewers push back on

Complaints usually concern shipping price changes and a narrower choice of lines than newer agents offer. Superbuy is rarely the cheapest option for a light parcel to Germany or Spain, so price your parcel on two agents before committing. Superbuy also lists a service hotline in China, but email and ticket replies are where most issues get solved.

Same product, different agent: Superbuy and Hipobuy

When two agents can buy the same Weidian or Taobao listing, the decision moves to the parcel. Price the full parcel, not one item: put your likely basket into Hipobuy's shipping estimate and into Superbuy's, using the same weight and country. A 2 kg parcel to Spain or Germany can differ by more than the cost of a whole T-shirt between agents.

To move a row over, copy the source link from the Hipobuy product page and paste it into Superbuy. If you see a different price, refresh: the seller may have changed it, or a size variant may be selected.

Landed cost of a Superbuy haul delivered to Belgium

Say you buy three T-shirts through Superbuy for €36 in total and pick a line that quotes €19 for the parcel. Belgium charges 21% import VAT on goods plus transport, about €11.55. Since 1 July 2026 the EU also charges a flat €3 customs duty for each different tariff category in parcels up to €150 sent under IOSS; this basket has 1 category, so €3. Landed cost: roughly €69.55, before any carrier handling fee.

Superbuy and Hipobuy compared on the same points

For most European buyers the deciding row is not in the table at all: it is the shipping quote for a real basket to their own address. Put the same weight and country into Hipobuy's estimator and Superbuy's, then add VAT and the €3 per-category duty, which are the same whichever agent ships.

Paying Superbuy safely

Use a card or PayPal rather than a bank transfer or crypto where you can, so a payment dispute stays possible if an order stalls. Keep the account balance close to zero between orders: a balance is money you have handed over without a product attached. If Superbuy offers a coupon that requires a large top-up, compare the saving with the risk of leaving that money parked.

Write down order numbers and dates. If you ever need support or a dispute, a simple timeline makes the case much faster.

Choosing a shipping line from Superbuy to the EU

Agent lines to Europe fall into three groups. Tax-included lines charge VAT and the €3 per-category duty up front, so nothing is due on the doorstep; they cost a little more per kilogram but avoid surprise bills. Postal lines are cheapest and slowest, often three to five weeks, and may leave VAT to be collected by the local post. Express couriers are fastest, around one to two weeks, and usually charge a clearance fee on top of taxes. For a first Superbuy parcel to Germany, France or Spain, a tax-included line is the least stressful choice.

Whatever you pick, compare the volumetric weight: bulky jackets and boxed shoes are charged by size as much as by weight.

• Find the storage period and the fee that starts after it.
• Note how many QC photos are free and what extra photos cost.
• Check the payment surcharge for card, PayPal or bank transfer.
• Order one inexpensive item first and follow it all the way to your door.

Who Superbuy suits

Superbuy is the choice when stability matters more than the lowest line price. If your spreadsheet came with Hipobuy links, converting them is a copy-and-paste job, and the item price stays the same because it is set by the Chinese seller.
